PROGRAM NOTE

This is originally in 5/4 but I wrote it in alternating 3/4 and 2/4.

I realize this song is often played fast but I slowed it down and saved a faster tempo for its return at the end of the arrangement.  The middle sections are based on Padespaan and Minoore Labajalg.  This piece is written for and dedicated to the students at the Music School in Viljandii, Estonian and their fine conductor Bert Langolier.  They are modern band arrangements for easy level group of this age old Estonian tune.
