PROGRAM NOTE

Grandfather Clock is written for Flute and Percussion and was

Commissioned and first performed in by Encore Music Camp in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.  The title refers to a friend’s winning puzzle solve on the television game show The Wheel Of Fortune.  This inspired the sequel for Trombone and Percussion, The Avanti Feels Glued To The Road Even When Cruising At 100 MPH.
