Sentiments is a piano trio composed In Remembrance Thurston J. Dox, colleague and revered choral director and proponent of colonial American choral Music.  His discovery and edition of the first Oratorio written in the New World remains significant research in the area of choral music.

The work, for Volin, Cello and Piano was

Commissioned by Hartwick College and first performed in 1995 by members of the Philadelphia Orchestra, Hirono Oka, violin, Robert Cafaro, cello and Jungeun Kim, piano.
